Sorry if this has been asked before. Does the Café have plans for a mobile friendly version? I hate having to zoom in on my phone.Thanks!

I will "second" that idea. difficult to use on phone.

To make this happen, the Café staff wouldn't need to develop an app. They would just need to install a plugin that allowed the existing BBS to work with one of the popular forum browsing apps that already exist for iPhone and Android. Two to consider are:

In each case, a plugin would need to be installed on the server side, and Café members would install an app on their phones. It looks like it would be pretty straightforward.

This is a great idea and would be especially useful when buying/selling items in Let's make a magic deal! to keep up with PMs.

Sometimes in the tech world things change during a period of 16 years. I see the earlier discussion ended with a question about what software the Café uses. Is this a closely guarded secret?

Yes, it is. Our software is custom built.

I did do a search. I did not know what tapatalk was before googling it for this thread. The second thread has someone asking what I asked, but all that was responded was "phones already have internet access" and "I would hate that," neither of which answered my question and thus I posted here.

But I get it now. Tis' a shame! But I guess there are worse problems to have in life

I was about to write the same post. And I'm still wondering if this has been done or if it is planned? It is a big site and is not really mobile friendly.
