This looks like a fun routine. Snake basket that fits in your pocket. http://www.wolfsmagic.com/Wolfs_Magic_Un......hon.html

Got mine. Seems solid. Essentially a mechanical pro viper. I've been using pro viper for over 10 yrs so the learning curve on this was very short. U will need a table, preferably with black surface.

My arrived on Monday. I went with green. As Eric said, very solid. As you would expect from a Wolf product. I've played with it every night since. Looking forward to adding it to the show. Dressing it up a bit now.

Tried it out tonight for about 100 people. Worked well. Bits with the mouse got good laughs. I've been using pro viper forever and it is hands down the best snake basket. The surprise factor is much better becsuse you r nowhere near the basket when it launches. The fact that you have to launch pocket python takes away some of the surprise factor. On the flip side however, it's $500 cheaper and more compact. Also, no electronics to fail. So all in all it's a solid snake basket with some built in comedy you can play off of

I bring the Wolf version with me and put it behind the electronic snake basket (two identical snakes with force cards). If the electronics fail (batteries "bleed" fast), I trigger the Wolf version. If I do it fast enough and with a distracting yell, no one seems to really know the difference even if the snake comes from behind the basket rather than inside it. Have had to do this a couple of times, and am glad for the back up. Wolf's packs flat, but it is true that the electronic ones generate more surprise.
