This something I built awhile ago....a jumbo card castle that doubles as a table. You will also see a few cool card routines I have used for years...

Regarding the questions about the card castle, the jumbo cards are metal. The card box used for the routines was not a shell, both the cards and box were completely ordinary.

I cut thick Aluminum and glued each cut piece to the back of a jumbo card...the folded unit is pretty heavy, I would say about 12 - 15 pounds....
