I had a trick years ago that included a little crystal-ish magic wand and three clear items with stones (similar to a hot rod). Pulling the magic wand out of your pocket a few times, you turned the cube into the sphere, and then you slammed the sphere flat into the disc. Does anyone remember this trick? Is it still for sale anywhere? I probably got it from Daytona Magic, but I can't find it in their close-up section now.

Yes, that was called Gem Busters by Jack Miller. A Google search shows it listed on a couple of sites, but those sites say out of stock.....and nothing on Ebay at the moment.

BTW, for a version that made sense, that Alan Wakeling took that premise it became The Mint, put out by Johnson Products...metal cube is rolled into a ball...ball flattened into a disk...disc is "stamped" with a half dollar heads and tails. Make a coin right in front of them. Smile

Haha! Beat me to it. Definitely Gem Busters. One of the few tricks of my youth that I still have along with the original packaging and instructions. Love that trick.

Also see "Mint Buster" by Chad Long on his website. Same thing with peppermint candies.

That's an awesome idea but I don't see it on Chad's website.

Yup, you are correct. It's called "Mint Shifter". Thanks.
