I probably always use John Guastafarro's Ballet Cut to force an odd back.

You could use either J. Jay's Discreet Displacement or Steve Beam Stud Force

According to Michael Skinner, Eddie Fechter was already performing this force in the 1960s. Don't know if Fechter created it though.
