I already have this trick but my friend showed this to me and he had this brass thing that made the coins separate. My question is where can I get one of these?

Just use a glass, it is cheaper and more available.
They do not have them at a reasonable price by the way. |

You might want take a look Breakout by Sasco. It's a brass bang ring and you would use it in routine.

Howard @ the Trickery has the Johnson banger for about $5. I use the brass ring in a couple different routines as a prop, to reset the S&S (during, and as part of the effect) for the next routine.

If you get a Johnson or other quality S&S set, you get a brass bang ring with it.

Using them in a glass to separate them is NOT a good thing on the coins and will wear them out on the edges far quicker than using a bang ring.

Yea, you should be able to call any magic shop and pick up a bang ring. I have seen them for as low as a buck for the wooden one. They are a little more for the brass one's but well worth it. Last 10 times as long. The wooden ones start to wear away after a while and then the coin falls right through the ring.

Sorcery Manf has a great deal on the S&S - coin set, booklet and a video for under $30.
