pegasus- I think what he said is once you purchase the kit you will get three augmented reality magic tricks for free as a bonus.

Then you will get a code to activate and download instructions to create a custom augmented reality based on your business card or logo or any trigger picture. You will have a choice of five different revelations to choose from in the kit. Once you choose the one of the five revelations they will create your animation based on your choice of trigger picture (business card or logo) and your choice of one of the five revelations. Then they will send you a code to download an app for your IOS or Android phone.

Exactly! You get three revelation plus one of 5 custom revelations to chose from (which some of them has various choices)

My question to Luca is:

After we purchase and receive our kits, how much time do we have to decide when we want to use our custom revelation codes. For example, Can I wait six months or a year to use it or does it have an expiration time limit to create my original AR trick?

I am Renato Cotini, the creator of the effect and first of all let me thank my friend Luca to make this all happens.

I'll try to reply your questions here so let me explain a bit how it works:

-pegasus: there are 5 basic templates to choose with many variations. The basic templates reveals a card, a word, a number, a time and a movie title.
Card revelation and word revelation are fully customizable: you can have the rendered animation created on your business card with EVERY playing card or word you want! The other 3 templates offers limited variations.

-funnyclown: thank you for your beautiful words, I think you'll like the effect very much too! There's no time to decide, when you receive the package you'll be able to use the 3 standard (bonus) effects and we'll create your custom animation whenever you want. The point is: will you be able to wait longer before requesting an unique custom animation on your logo or business card...?

Hi Pegasus the card need to be f@@@@ed but you can chose any card to be triggered and revealed on your business card. Hope is clear.

If I buy two can I then have the option of two different F#$**ed cards. Or does it need to be a different trigger picture?

Only one animation can be triggered on a single image. So if you buy two items you can have two different animation but they have to trigger on different images. If you got for example a business card printed on the back and the front you could use each face for a different card revelation.

Great, so you can buy 2 and select 2 different cards for your routine.

Or perhaps you could select 2 different templates just like a number or a word for a following up routine.

Sometimes I use a svenpad to do the word revelation just after the card effect and the reactions are always fun!

I've been doing this for a couple of years after I saw Alan Rorrison do something similar in his Penguin lecture. Always gets great reactions. I've just started doing it recently with a Sven pad as well. A really under utilised piece of technology.

I thought the same thing.
This is one of those frustrating things because as cool as this sounds in the ad copy I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that the Boris spider effect will get 10 times the reactions. Now I realize that the spider effect is not for everyone but it's the same with other effects too. You can do the most incredible sleight of hand or a $1500.00 electronic marvel and all they end up raving about is the sponge bunnies.

However, I do think the price for AR is surprisingly low. I expected it to be a couple hundred at least.

Guys you need to keep in mind that we filmed this in Italy where not everyone understand english so obviously sometimes the reactions are a little slow due the language barrier. Hope you appreciate the fact that we actually show a full performance of one of the revelation instead of only talking about it....

Boris spider trick may get a shocking reaction but I'd bet this trick will get you work because they will remember your business card. It's magic that happens right on your card. As compared to other business card magic tricks this one definitely uses AR in a clever way to showcase the latest in tech magic. And it's only $43. That's ridiculously cheap for a custom AR animation.
