After 7 years away from the magic world, I am revisiting my books and reacquainting myself with my old routines and inspirations. I can probably still name my top 5 books on my shelf (Maximum Entertainment, The Performance of Close-up Magic, Wise Guy, and Mentalism Inc. being four of the five) but there are many that have flags in them that I don't remember even slightly why they were put there so I must reread them to find out why.

What books are on YOUR shelf that you should probably visit once again. Why should you get reacquainted with these old friends? Information builds insight, insight builds understanding, understanding builds better performers.

Give it some thought and weigh in.
