Does anyone know when kikuchi invented the fickle fire?
An antique dealer is trying to convice me that his is turn of the century whereas I believe that kikuchi probably came up with it in the 60's. Any comments?

Have to agree with you. I had "Fickle Fire" purchased from Tannens around 1975. I think they came out in the late 60's.
Do not buy magic from antigue dealers as you will pay an inflated price all the time.Found a change bag at an antigue store once and the owner was asking $125.00, I told her she will never sell it.
The effect is the important thing, how you achieve it is not.......
