Back on line after careing for my wife 24/7 (married 63 years)through a 2 year illness, Anna, passes away peacefully 10/4/19-- Going thru her desk I was remembering the Characters she developed after we got so many shows, I couldn't handle alone. I was able to identify only 21 female magicians, 3 of whom (Minnette Gersh Lenier, Pauline Schmidt & Agnes Zancig) are no longer living. Out of the remaining 18, 11 are already mentioned in this thread. The 7 not mentioned are: Gay Blackstone, Sophie Evans, Debbie Leifer, Romany "The Diva Of Magic", Muriel Brugman (of 'Scott & Muriel'), Margo (Timon), and Frances Willard. Anybody who wants to add any of these female magicians is welcome to do so.

I saw Josephine Lee on Masters of Illusion about a week ago. I liked her take on the Gypsy Rope Tie.
