I've googled to no avail. Looking for a source for squishy open cell foam sheets around 1/4 in thick in various colors.
High density closed cell is everywhere, but not the squishy kind in thin colors. I bought a foam sandwich but I'm looking to build one a little differently. |

They just don't make that foam any longer, I have looked as well, and can not find it anywhere. Even the craft stores now call those thin sheets foam.
I have the old Hank Moorehouse Sandwich trick as well. |

Try Your Auto Trim - www.yourautotrim.com. Possibly Joann's, Michael's or Hobby Lobby might have this.

There was a fabric shop in town that had upholstery materials that had a couple of colors (pink and green)in stock. That was a couple of months ago that I saw it. (it was not what I was after) but you might want to check local furniture upholstery shops as well.
