I'm looking for a set of lazy tongs. I have quite a few sets of these, but all of them consist of a series of X's made from two single rods. I'm looking for one made from two pairs of rods. The advantage of this latter design is that it doesn't twist as much when you extend them to their full length.

I have built double tongs as you are looking for. The advantage is just as you say they are very stable. For Johnathan david bass we built a sort of Standing Form with a De Kolta Chair gimmick on the top. Sort of like the thing pictured for The great leon's fire and water routine. owen |
