What about the spoon bending without being touched, I only know of one method, it's in paramiracles.

Another serial divination !!!
...imagine you borrow a dollard bill , you have your head turn all that time, after that you crumble the dollard bill to make shure it's impossible to really get a glimpse at the bill... You put it in a empty glass of wine for isolation (this is in assuming your are working in a restaurant)and cover it with a hankerchief, your head is still turning. After that you pass your hand over, to play mental marvel, you wrote somethings on a pad and ask someone to hold it... If many persons are sit around the table, improvise and ask each of the person around the table to memorise each a number, that you would told them in a minute or so. You name all number by your favorite script! When it's time to confirm the information, you take off the hankie by your finger tips, everybody will see the dollard bill in the glass, then ask someone to take it out the bill and to read outloud the serial number on it, a perfect match !!!! So my ideas is to ad somethings to help me. When you take the bill from the spectator you secretely put a small magnet in the middle of the bill, and then you crumble the bill with the magnet inside, placing it in the glass and cover it. And secretely hide behind the hankie you have, another bill that you know the serial number. ( very easy to load ). You wrote on the pad the serial number that you have memorized or whatever presentation you use. And when its time to confirm, you have a TT with another small strong magnet inside it (mine is glue inside) And when you take the hankie from the glass put your hand around the glass, the magnet will attract the other magnet inside the bill (you will feel it) After that part, you pull gently on the hankie and the bill will follow your hand because of the gimmick and would be hidden by the hankie at the same time Everybody would be able to see the bill in the glass and they will assume that this is the borowed bill that is there from the beginning… This is a way… Hope this gave you some food for thought Kuffs |

Dear Kuffs,
Hanky suspicious. Forget hanky. Use your thumb tip loaded with a magnet to keep their bill on the bottom of glass as you tip over the glass and do shuttle pass into waiting left hand -- at which point, you show the duplicate that's apparently popping out of the glass. Just a little thought with an old idea. Regards, Fib |

I respect your idea ... but for me it is much more suspicious do to a shuttle pass ( mostly because I thinks the suttle pass move is a suspicious move by itself, But this is my opinion)
I am glad yu play with the idea, because anyway it was the point of my post Take care Kuffs |

Okay, I think this will solve the problem for both of you. Use an Enigma gimmick and then when you "pour" the bill into your hand it actually sticks inside the glass and up against your hand and you just pretend to pour it into the hand that already has the bill you want to substitute. The cool thing is now you can put the glass down and the bill will slide along with your hand and end inside your hand which you can hold casually.

I find it hard to fault one of the earliest handlings, altho I can't recall whose it is. Spectator is invited to ball up the bill and toss onto the stage. "Just in case" you toss a hank over it, too. Divine away, then just drop your bill when you lift the hank off. (taking the original with you)
The only problem with this is matching the newness of the bill, and perhaps, visibility, or am I missing something here?

Thanks Kuffs, I like the handling just the way you described it. It leaves the impression that everything is fair.
Thak you for sharing this. Regards Jonathan |
