What has made you sell magicfish? I know a few people parting with their collections recently. I'm selling some also. Just getting old in my case.

Hi Wordsworth, thanks for asking.
I collect books on another subject as well. There is only so much room in the house. I thought I'd sell a few good magic books for two main reasons: 1- create a little more room (for more books?) 2- So others can enjoy them. |

I’ve been buying magic books for about thirty years.
Magic of Michael Ammar was the first book I got from a magic shop, then I promptly spent my monthly paper route money over the course of a year or so buying Tarbell. My most recent book purchase was Out of Control / Totally Out Of Control By Chris Kenner. Browsers Den auction and used books area are both great places for picking up books, for me. Otherwise I tend to lean on Jeff to get me new books when I need them. |

Add TA Waters big book if you don't already have it along with Becker's Stunners
I have Syzgy and has a great variety of material. I booked Lee Earle many years for a lecture when I lived in Nova Scotia. The Koran Book is good (there are a few). Also the Barrie Richardson Trilogy is a must.

Hey fellas. Hope you are all well. Just picked up a new old book: Cunning Stunts- The Best 50 Pub Tricks and Brain Teasers by Martin Daniels and Ian Alexander.
I bought this from the Browsers Den of Magic in Toronto- where I buy all my books. This is a little spiral bound beauty full of some great bar stunts. A gem! |

Managed to find myself a copy of the big ol' Zarrow book! It has been on my wishlist for years and now I can finally sink my teeth into it. For as good as people say it is, there hasn't been as much of a discussion on it that I could find.
Maybe that's the intention though... |

I got this one when it first came out. There are some real gems in there.

That's great news to hear! I think I'm most excited about the non-Zarrow shuffle material. I'm curious to see what else his mind came up with!
After this, I think I will start trying to track down the dozen books in Steve Beam's SACT series. That may take me a while. |

Good evening gents, I just acquired a copy of the hardbound collectors edition of Vanish Magazine to add to my collection of hardbound periodicals. Interesting material.

Long time lurker of the thread, first time poster
I don't know at what point I cross the threshold of being a collector, but last year I decided to put an effort into cards and walked out of the store with 'The Royal Road to Card Magic'. Fast forward to a few days ago and my second book – a copy of Lorayne's 'Close Up Card Magic' – arrives in the mail. I've been reading through 'Close Up Card Magic' and really enjoying the writing. It's been a fun read so far. Does two books qualify me as a collector? Probably not, but wanted to share my new pickup either way.
Borrowed coins and borrowed cards
