Clearly, a decision was made by management to push Riana forward as a novelty contender. I guess they thought she would be good for ratings. Personally, I found it all very amateurish, like a bad high school production of The Crucible, but I admit I am not the target audience as I am not particularly drawn to bizarre magic..

Kind of what I did a few years back. Monster high dolls appeared 3 times each time I opened the doors. Finally my assistant popped out dressed as a Monster High doll.

Yeah, she is a Denny creation. But MAN! He picked the right girl! The twitching and tics were really convincing. Her reply, "WE...are PLEASED..." gave me chills! This could have easily been done on a show like World's Greatest Magic. Maybe develop a show of just Bizarre. World's Spookiest Magic! Yes? No? Doug |

I was approached after a show I did last week by a spectator who chatted about other performances he had seen and wanted to know if I watched them, too. He exclaimed "And the scary girl with the twitches? She was incredible!"
When the lay audience spontaneously praises someone's performance, they did well.
Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.

However her character stands in sharp contrast to this ideal and yet she consistently won the audience over big time. To me, that is impressive.
