I’m really interested in how the gimmick is brought into and out of play, it seems like it’s very practical for strolling magicians

I got my kit and have to say the gimmick is very powerful. I have not viewed the video yet but very happy. I had the E.H. and kinda the same gimmick on how it goes in your hand but the control gimmick is way more powerful.
Teddy, the gimmick is brought into and out of play very easy. Your basically just ditching the gimmick from your hand. It shows on the demo. Very glad I got this. |

I love the dollar bill through glass effect and the spread out cards then move the signed card from the spread. These will be the two I would use. I have not tried cap in bottle yet. not sure if it would replace my P.K. ring for that effect.

Thanks MR Effecto I will probably be picking this up soon, it seems like the most thought out and developed for pk type magic. I never used a pk ring but wanted to do some pk effects so I’m excited that this will probably give me the versatility of a pk ring but the freedom of clean empty hand

In the demo video it looks like he has arthritis in his hand/fingers. Can you hold this in place with a much more relaxed hand posture

Just did my first full-on performance using Control. It went brilliantly. Instantly justified the cost. The two-cup-monte routine was a favorite.

I was hesitant on purchasing after viewing the Wizard Product Review -- but came here and you guys have made me confused! Ha, I think I'll take the plunge. Seems like a great device with countless options.

I do a lot of mentalism and so the watch stop is favourite. Darryl is a brother but I really feel that the Wizard Guys really missed the boat on this very well thought out creation of Darryl's. I know Darryl personally as he is a friend of mine and so anything I say can be taken in the wrong light here,so this is why I have never said anything like this on any of his past releases. However, I felt that I needed to say something here as I truly believe wizard guys were digging hard at trying to find the nicest way to tear it apart. I can see how rustic made a great point regarding that it seamed as though they were really defending Nick Night - even though Control is So much different from Enigma. And it was not an actual review, more of a defence or something as not even a % given. I saw the evolution of control over the last 3 years and I can honestly say this is a well thought out design of the main gimmick and other items included. When it comes to reviewing a product my personal opinion is that the reviewer should actually test it on an audience/spectator, as that is who we perform for. Love the fact it secures to your finger allowing natural movement of the hands, this was just one thing I really like when Darryl first showed this to me a few years back. Quality and not Quantity baby is the way I like it. Mike

Does doing a watch stop harm the watch? Maybe a stupid question on my part, but curious.

Posts from Quora regarding magnets and watches-
https://www.quora.com/How-easily-do-magn......-watches Robert Wrigley, Vintage watch collector and amateur watchmaker. Answered Jan 25, 2016 It depends on the watch. Modern mechanical watches are largely immune to all but the strongest magnetic fields thanks to the use of non-magnetic alloys, but older watches are more vulnerable. Quartz watches are mostly immune, but strong fields can mess with the stepper motor. There are specific models of both that are designed to withstand extreme magnetic fields (Rolex MilGauss being the premium example). George Gonzalez, Four semesters of Physics! Passed all of them! Answered Dec 22, 2014 A watch that is totally mechanical may be affected by strong magnetic fields. If the balance wheel gets magnetized that will add friction and bias to the system and the watch will likely slow down or stop. Fortunately they can be demagnetized with a simple degaussing coil. A Quartz watch is likely to be mostly immune to those issues. It would take an immensely strong magnet, like in a MRI machine, to magnetize the mechanical parts enough to stop them. Abbas Saigara, I do repair mechanical clocks Answered May 31, 2015 Magnet will not actually damage a clock or watch, but there will be effect on the performance. For clocks, a strong magnetic field may interfere with swing of the pendulum, and it may stop, but once the magnetic field is removed, the clock will work perfectly. In case of watches, if a watch is magnetized, then there are chances, that loops of the hairspring touche some other part, and this will result in shortening of effective length of the hairspring. In such case, the watch will run fast, (may be 20 to 30 minutes a day) The moment we de-magnetize the movement, problem will be solved. I had gone through this problem and solved it, even without opening cover of the watch.
How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

So far I’ve watched the instructional for control and have been working with the kit. Loving the main gimmick and the possibilities it offers.
Hope to have full review mid to end of next week. Want to really work with it. A friend told me wizard removed their Review on this. I wonder why?? after thinking about It further I looked back at the wizard “movemint Review” of David Penn saying how much he loved it along with Craig Petty. See Movemint review link below. I think Penn really contradicted him self here. As Control gimmick is similar to Movemint, But with a greatly improved advancement for the main gimmick. And so I could not wrap my head around why Penn would try so hard to tear Control apart after loving movemint?? All I could really think was to protect Nick Night, at least that is how they both came across in my opinion, even though Control is Very different from Enigma SA is pretty much an Enigma knock off with different material - so I can understand their point here but Control is in a different realm from SA and Enigma in my honest opinion. Here are the links - note that Control/SA Review was removed?? Movemint https://youtu.be/7Ggpzgw4qF4 Control/SA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLbM4SXdyT8&t=726s (was remove) |

I had to go watch that for myself, Ustaad. Their faces when he named it Worker of the Week were absolutely hilarious. Thanks for sharing that. Definitely detracts from credibility in a big way.

The reason the wizard review was removed was because of a product they reviewed called Project Swiss army by Chris Turci and Brandon David. They released the details to soon, they got ahead of themselves and released the details to early.
