Hi , I'm new to cups and balls...
I'm planning to get either one of Morissey, bazar de magia or Uday coz of their inexpensive price... which do you recommend? what are the pros and cons of each? I was planning to get Morissey coz of a special offer, but am not very sure whether it's a good buy.... what makes a cup a good cup?? how does weight play a part? coz I heard morissey cups are quite light... does the morissey cups fulfill most of, if not all the 'requirements' of a good cup? please reply ASAP thanks |

Lol....sorry, I just read some topics...
alright.... just simple Qs now...which I think will take me ages to find the As in all of the threads I'm actually considering getting the morrissey aluminium cups and balls + chop cup set..so 1. are they stainless? 2. are they heavy enough? 3. I don't wanna be a hardcore cups n balls performer who buys a $500 set, just wanna be an intermediate performer who can perform Michael Ammar's routines with it...so is the morrissey set good enough? just a yes/no A will be good enough, but if you have sth to add on, tha'tll be even better! thanks |

Hi there, hope I didn't come across as being "abrasive" wasn't meant to be.
1. Stainless? never heard this in respect of aluminium, usually refers to steel. So NO 2. each to his own..many people say they are too light and copper or brass better. In your case they are probably OK. 3. I do suggest taking a look at James Risers page, it discusses various aspects of Cup Design that you will not be aware of at this stage. Stacking, Nesting, etc. Hope this helps, I can,t remember the Riser link but I'll let you know if I find it before you do!! If you'd like to get some Peguin Cups @ less than $99 take a look at http://www.calmagic.com they are the same but brass for $75. Great I recently bought some!! Howard |

There are plenty of people who have them and for starters I suppose they are as good if not better than most of the lower priced ones. Do read the threads though, especially the one I've just brought forward should answer most of your queries.
