Over the past few months, I've been developing a series of magic tricks using Amazon Alexa.
I've been getting some great reactions when performing Card Finder at home or even better at someone's house with their own Echo / Echo Dot or Alexa enabled device.

These two skills are free to enable on your Alexa enabled device.

Card Finder - An Amazon Alexa card trick that will reveal two selected cards.

With Card Finder, I explain how folks are apprehensive about these smart devices as some think Alexa is listening into their conversations.
Alexa doesn't need to bother with that since she can read minds. A demonstration follow with selecting one or two cards.

Not sure why I didn't work for me. Alexa says I don't know that one.

Need to make sure you ask "Alexa ask card finder to reveal (name's) card, Then Alexa ask card finder what the second card is

One approach I take is to include the person's name.

Alexa, Ask Card Finder to reveal John's card.

That personalization also helps with the performance.
