Hey guys,

I've been considering the purchase of 'Bleeding Heart' by Keith Lack, for some time now. I've already spoken to Keith about what I intend to do with the trick and he said that it would work, I plan to do a T&R effect and end with the card bleeding.

For those who have it, I would honestly appreciate a review, if that is possible. Just to get some knowledge from someone who has used it in his performances before.

Thanx for your help guys,

Logan

I wish I could help, but I declined to purchase because it sounds really MESSY!! I don't know if I can deal with cleaning up the bloody mess everytime I perform the effect.
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

Hi Logan. I don't have it, but would like to get it some time. Although I cannot talk about it, I am going to do the best I can to help you a little.

Do you plan to use a pin in your Torn and Restored routine? Because I think it is a must.
Yours,

Ivan

Hey Ivan buddy, its been a while.

Thanks for your efforts to help my friend. Well, I hoping to use a penknife, but I agree with you - I have a feeling the pin is compulsory to the execution of the effect.

But of course, the knife can be easily subsituted with the pin, I have to qualms.

Thanks again my friend,

Take care,

Logan

I also like Keith's idea of having a picture of a jar of Jam and when you pin it, jam comes out.

Delicious!

This may be the effect for Daffy, as the mess is cleaned easily and with a threat. Hmmmmmm! Smile

Hi, I would like to give life to this post by asking for reviews.
Even about five years later, I didn't notice somebody reviewing this effect which to me seem a very nice finale to any Ace Assemble.
As I browsing Madhatter's Magic shop site, I saw this effect stating:

Put a surprise at the end of your Four Ace Assemble with the "Bleeding Heart" . Using your favorite ace assembly (or the one I provide in the instructions) and with deck in hand, you tell the story of the four major loves of your life. At each love mentioned, an ace is produced in an astonishing manner. At the end, you reveal the last card to be the Ace of Hearts representing the one true love of your life. You tell how you went to a school dance and lost touch soon after. All that you have to remember her by is the brass safety pin she used to pin a rose to your lapel with. The pin is produced and handed out for inspection. The pin is opened by the spectator and inserted into the center hart pip on the card. "Little did I know that she would brake my hart in the end". Once the pin is pulled back out, the hart starts to bleed. The card is immediately turned over and handed out for examination. A very strong handling combined with an entertaining routine makes this a real reputation maker. Easy to do. Comes with all you need to do this effect immediately and how to easily make ultra realistic blood at home when you run out. This is the good blood like you get in the kit. This recipe is worth the price of this effect alone and has been used in Hollywood for years. You will also receive full color instructions with a few alternate routines. Like "VOODOO KING". A demonstration in Voodoo using a King of Spades. "STIGMATA" Use this technique to cause pictures to bleed stigmata like streams of blood. "Sweet Photo Syrup-rise" Poke a photo of a can of chocolate syrup only to have real syrup leak out. Immediately hand the photo out for a taste test and inspection. The syrup appears to have come from nowhere. Very easy to do. The method has lots of potential. You will come up with many ideas of your own.

Hope that somebody can help!!!
