Are you looking for a particular style of them? If so, you'd have to tell us which kind you want.
There's this Tango one: https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/magic/......--black/ And the Johnson one: https://www.johnsonmagicproducts.com/sho......29a70e2e And the Luohanqian set: http://www.approachchina.com/luohanqian-......353.html It all depends on what you want them to look like. There are lots of styles. |

These are the ones I used when I was using Halves. http://themagicwarehouse.com/CO6322/Chin......E%20COIN
There is a option for Black. It is pretty much the same as the dollar size ones that come with the new version of CCC. (no dragon on the dollar size, just the same "letters" on each size).

Hi,
I highly recommend these coins: http://dennymagic.com/store/sterling-chinese-coin.html They are thin, kind of smooth, have a nice weight and look nice. Best, Jens |

I guess I should add the criteria of reasonably priced and not out of stock when you go to order.

I don't think $18 for a single half dollar chinese coin is reasonable? Considering the Hoooser set has 4 dollar sized at $40.00, I'd have to say I max out at $10.

For a good quality coin you are going to pay $8 to $20 for a coin. I currently use the dollar size coins from Roy Kueppers. Your other choice is to look at real Chinese coin or feng shui on the big auction site. If there a reason for wanting to use half dollars over the larger coins?

If you are the crafty kind, you could do it with washers and paint them how you want, or you could come up with your own presentation. I will do it with washers and tell the story of my grandfather, and when he would work he kept washers on a string on his belt. Funny thing is he never tool the string off the belt but was always put pull one of the washers right off. All it takes is just a bit of imagination.

Small hands :o) I had Lance Pierces version with the Dollar sized coins and struggled because of the size.

I was less advocating specific coins/prices, and more pointing out that style might be important if you want them to match others you have.
For good value, I like the Luohanqian set - you get five coins and a couple of sh***s, which lets you do additional things besides CCC. |

This has then listed for $6 ea and "In stock". When I posted the magicwarehouse before that Matthew posted later, it didn't show "out of stock" until the cart. They are usually better kept up with listing items as out of stock on the product page but they are having a pretty massive sale right now and are busy filling orders all day.

If you do a Google search for the set, you'll find a bunch of different sellers, including several on Ebay. You're welcome to purchase from any of them you'd like. |
