This may have been covered in another post...but does anyone have one of Joe's new tubes? If so, what do you think of it, and would you recommend purchasing one? I currently use a Morissey tube, the non curled edge model.

I strongly suggest the "Rice's Palmo" for $10. This is the best color change gimmick on the market. It does not have the tape. Viking is also now making them. This takes an 18" silk. I have used this device going on 50 years now, a proven winner.
They also have a none tape model "Rices Simplex" for 12" silks, not called a palmo. http://www.silkkingmagic.com I do not like the shape of the Porper, but that is a personal thing I guess. My other choice would be Johnson Products tape dye tubes. They come in 12" size and 18" size. They have the turned in lip for easy removal and to keep the silk in the tube. |

I absolutely love Joe Porper's dye tube! I just ordered a couple of Simplex 18" dye tubes for evaluation as well!
