I didn't see this anywhere here so for those who don't know Greg had a heart attack Tuesday night. His girlfriend took him to hoag, where the immediately prepped I'm for an emergency angioplasty.
He is at home now and feeling better than he has in a long time...but he got really close to that final curtain. |

Must be better. He's lecturing for our Ring this coming Tuesday.

Wow that's unfortunate. I sure hope it was a misdiagnosis.

Stanyon,
Doesn't surprise me...he was getting ready for a 3 month tour and is only putting off a week of it, so "taking it easy" seems to be a relative term. |

Due to concerns related to the heart attack, the first five cities of Gregory's tour had to be cancelled. My Ring was one of them.

I hope Greg gets a cardiac catheterization done and stays under the care of a cardiologist. I had open heart surgery over a year ago to get a life saving procedure done.

So sad for greg. He is a living legend of Magic. I send him good vibes and I am sure he will recover quickly.

I just saw this and am stunned. He lectured to our ring in Little Rock this month and was dynamite – funny, high-energy and upbeat. He never mentioned any health problems (and we meet in a hospital!) I sure wouldn't have guessed.

Lynn,
Yes, he is currently on the lecture tour he'd had already planned when he had the heart attack. I believe the episode only push the beginning of the tour back a week. So he is up and working. |

I saw his lecture last Thursday at SAM 248 in Phoenix. He was in great form, high energy, hilarious, and ingenious with his approach while generous with his knowledge. He's lost nothing. I'm very glad we still have him around.

That was close! We almost lost a living legend! On top of losing Harry, that would be really, REALLY heavy to deal with. Greg is a hero to me. And I'm sure to many, many others!
Greg is definitely ONE OF A KIND! If there ever was anybody who literally breathed and lives magic through every pore of his body, Greg is that man. My prayer and wishes for him is for only total recovery and restored full health and a long life! And of course many, many more long years of great magic.

Greg is the magician I would love to be. I try to emulate him while still staying true to myself. He's the only magician where I will buy his products when I know I will never use them. I just enjoy watching his explanations. I would watch him read a dictionary.
Hope he's with us for a very long time! Wish you health, happiness, and all the best in life Greogry!!! |
