I've moved the Magic reference pages from http://magicref.tripod.com to http://magicref.net
The Lycos service wasn't so good, and their lack of security was poor.

For those who aren't familiar with the website, there are two main magic sections:

1. The Magic References: For effects such as The Linking Rings, Card to Wallet, Coloring Changing Knives, etc., provides lists of books, videos and products related to that effect. The specific page for that is here: https://magicref.net/magref/magref.htm

2. Magic Book Table of Contents: This page lists the table of contents for over 4000 Magic Books. The intents is to help you see what's in book before you buy it, or by using a Google search you can find out in what book a particular routine might be in. For example, you can search: "site:magicref.net/magicbooks "linking rings" to find all books with references to the linking rings. This site can be found here: http://magicref.net/magicbooks

The site is as ugly as the old one, but hopefully you'll find it helpful.

I'll keep the old site up for a few months, but won't update it. All updates will be at the new site: magicref.net

Good to know!
Great resource, constantly go there to check table of contents when I don't have the books near me.

I've said it before, but I will say it again. I love your table of contents site. Thank you for maintaining it.

So far this year, I've been able to add quite a few books every month - we're getting near 5000 books listed (I think it's bout 4,700 or so right now).

As always, there are a few other sources for looking for magic book contents:

Denis Behr's amazing Conjuring Archive: http://www.conjuringarchive.com/
- features a custom database, and details on card moves, originators, etc.

Jacky Kahan's Magicbooks.be: http://www.magicbooks.be
- similar to my site, with thousands of listings. You do need to register to view.

Chris Wasshuber's Lybrary.com: http://www.lybrary.com
- Although a commercial site, Chris lists the contents for the majority of the ebooks he sells, though not usually with page numbers of the original, if that matters to you.
