Hey guys,
I remember reading about lighted chandilier productions a while back and found a few ads from old Genii mags. Does anyone know if these are still available? Or possibly someone has an old model kicking around...I'd appreciate any help that could be provided. Thanks. Magically yours, Matt |

I have two Harrakan Chandeliers. Lighting is only a central bulb but with "crystals" surrounding. PM me if you wish more. HC

The only Chandelier production I know of was made by Penguin Magic out of PA. in the 1960's. They made coin magic also. I do not know if they are the same Penguin Magic which is on the net or not. It was very nicely made. They also sold a table top to produce it from. I always wish I would have gotten one, but $20 was alot of money back then.
I did not know Harrakan made Chandeliers or sold them in the U.S. I did see a Japanese magician at Abbott's Get-together last year that produced a Chandelier that may have been a Harrakan. To be honest it looked like an upside umbrella and rather small. |

The Chandelier Production is the only magic item I've ever bought that I sent back because it was absolute JUNK!
Marvyn Roy uses a very nice looking one in his act, but I'm sure he paid a nice price to have it custom made. I would also like to get one if someone knows of a nicely-made one that really looks like a chandelier. There are two books entitled "Do the Stuff That's You" by Chris Carey, volume one of which I believe has a chandelier production routine. I don't have the book, but it might tell you what type of chandelier he uses. Hope this helps, Amos McCormick

I have the book by Chris Carey, he does not 'plug' any item for the production. Like I said above, I believe he was talking about the old American model, no longer available.

If you ahve any illusion designing ability/kowledge (not meant as an insult or anything... just stating something), then perhaps you should design the production yourself. To me it seems quite easy. Of course it depends WHERE you want to produce it... but that really only puts kinks in a design and not much more... Well have fun.........

I haven't seen any around in years. (Any decent ones.)
Are you looking for "lightbulbs", "candles" or "lightbulbs put in candles, so they look like real candles"? Matt
