What are the best sources for Si Stebbens effects? Any book recommendations? Downloadable lectures? DVDs?

Hello!
The first that come to mind to me are: Woody Aragon has some good stuff and thoughts in his Woodyland DVDs published by Luis De Mato. Gene Anderson has a book in which he explain a multi phase routine. He explains it in his Penguin lecture as well A very good effect is in one of Roberto Giobbi's Card College Light series. Can't remember which one. Sorry, I'm not home now. Another one I personally use is in Steve Beam's Semiautomatic Card Tricks volume 2, page 46. Called Sly Stebbins and credited to Allan Slaight. A shameless plug:
https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/magic-......between/ (There's another ebook coming up, which I'm slowly finishing working on. It's one of the strongest gambling tricks I do. And, at the end you can go directly into "In Between". Stay tuned!) Mike |

I can't help with a book or DVD, but one trick I really like with the si stebbins is from Aaron Fisher.
It was in an old lecture he was giving. Unfortunately the name escapes me at the moment, but I remember something with "devil". Maybe someone can jump in with the name of the routine. |

I also like https://trickshop.com/s6-si-stebbins-tricks.html and https://trickshop.com/julien-proskauer-si-stebbins.html own all 3 of these (e-books) I also recommend the following from www.lybrary.com https://www.lybrary.com/si-stebbins-bundle-p-921937.html as a bundle you save but each are good alone too (I have all 3) https://www.lybrary.com/recycled-stebbins-p-624543.html and the follow up https://www.lybrary.com/recycling-stebbi......332.html (I do not have these two but they are on my "wish list) https://www.lybrary.com/si-stebbins-stack-p-16487.html I learned this from a Darwin Ortiz VHS a long time ago (I imagine this is the same as the Ortiz "Si Stebbins Secret" / or it would have to be close. I use the Ortiz method all the time) While you are looking thru Lybrary, you will also run into https://www.lybrary.com/si-stebbins-pro-p-4180.html Although it is an excellent book with some really good material, it is NOT the "Si Stebbins" stack as magicians know it. It is a re-vamp of what the author considers weeknesses of the original stack. Still, If you really start getting into "Stebbins" type stacks, it is well worth a read.

Cardopolis.blogspot.com has a good trick in his July 2015 post. Even better he provides a link to a free download of one of Si Stebbins’ original pamphlets with tricks.

There's a "spell to ANY card" effect (my go to). Ortiz maybe. Another amazing but "hard" (perfect faro), Swain's Matching Pairs.
It's not their senses that mislead, it's their assumptions.
