The newest effect by Magic Wagon, Temple of Divination, has been released today and is now available.

Image

Here is the description from Magic Wagon website:

The performer displays a beautiful wooden cabinet along with three wooden blocks, numbered 1, 2 and 3. While the performer’s back is turned, a spectator is invited to arrange the blocks in any order and then close the door of the cabinet. The performer now turns around and asks the spectator to place the cabinet onto his open hands; immediately the performer reveals the correct order of the blocks inside!

This elegant illusion is fully automatic with no sleight of hand involved to make the divination!

The effect is entirely self-contained and nothing is added or taken away!

A multiple-phases routine can also be performed and it can be immediately repeated with a different outcome!

The effect is performed in full view and the cabinet never leaves the view of the spectator, not even for an instant!

No electronics or batteries are involved as it incorporates an ingenious and very clever mechanical mechanism!

Hundreds of hours have gone into the development of this mechanical marvel; unlike other similar effects presented to the magic fraternity, there are no secret sliding panels of any kind used. The method is highly elaborate and mechanically sophisticated not only due to the complexity of the mechanism involved, but also as a consequence of manufacturing processes. The brass work mechanism inside is truly a masterpiece of engineering!

The cabinet measures approximately 15cms wide, 12cms high and 9cms deep including the roof and has been completely handcrafted from natural aged teak wood with a lightly distressed oil finish. Each wooden block is also completely handcrafted from genuine teak and finally adorned with a brass engraved numbered plaque.

Seems like I could be similar in method to their earlier voodoo prop, which I own and love.
Looks as gorgeous as you would expect from MW.
