Hi everyone,
I dreamt up this video presentation for card warp: https://youtu.be/MeOKzu6mopQ Comments and opinions are welcome.

This looks pretty much like Warp One... Is is the background setting that you are highlighting ?

Scott,
My bad, I really should've credited the method--yes, it is David Ren Jenkins' "Warp One." And, from the sound of your question, I probably should've said this was a "context" for card warp, rather than a "presentation." I thought the background might be a way of playing up the surreal nature of card warp in a silent video presentation.

As a whole, I find the hands to be too stiff. And because the whole focus is on the card all the time, I think it loses its entertainment value. I'm sure you'd get god reactions if you did it to people while interacting with them, as it'd cover the stiffness and let you build rapport.

Thanks for the comments, Ado. This is beginning to look like one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time..." concepts. I wanted to experiment with the video format for magic, to see what could be done specifically in that medium. While I like the Warp One method as an exercise, I actually prefer the original Roy Walton routine for live performance, precisely because it makes for better interaction with the audience. Seems like I may have failed to make a real connection with the video, but thanks for watching anyway
