Yeah, it scares me a bit that he died so young. RIP, Harry.

Yes, too young. A reminder not to put off today, what we really want to do.

Any more info on what happened? Hard to swallow "natural causes" at 65. If that means "none of your business," I'll respect that, but I did wonder.

Yes, reassuring, Jeff- to see grown men expressing vulnerability is reassuring to a girl like me.

I have one book of his...Games You Can't Lose - A Guide For Suckers.
By Harry Anderson and Turk Pipkin. A witty little paperback with a lot of vintage cons in it. 1989 Not really a magic book but a fun read in parts.

I went to an MCW (Magic Collectors' Weekend) some years ago just to meet Harry Anderson. Not that we spent much time together, but from the interactions we had he sure seemed like a perfectly decent / nice guy. I do recall purchasing something from him (lecture notes and / or a book) and him not having the correct change on hand (IIRC he had forgotten his wallet in his hotel room). He was like, well, just pay me the next time you see me.

Harry is also a topic in 'Did you hear the latest' forum! One of the posts mentioned that he died of a heart attack. In these later years, he and wife had a magic shop in New Orleans. He was a man of many talents with a passion for acting, comedy and of course magic. He'll be missed by many. Lynn

I watched every episode of Night Court as a kid just hoping every night that the Judge would do trick. He was a real magician.

Harry was a great inspiration. I hope he enjoys the next ride as much as I think he enjoyed this last one.
