These look great. I wish they would have came out a bit sooner.HAHA. I just bought a pair of D'Lites ultra bright about a month ago and I love them but I paid $25. If these are as bright and quality then I am ordering 3 - 4 pair of different colors. By the video they look promising.
These lights are absolutely fun to play with and show off. I love them. Ordering a few pair to start. :) WOOHOO! |

From what I understand- These are not newer and brighter than the same light that stores such as Penguin have already been selling but merely sold out and this is a restocking.

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Rocco first put out the Prisma Lights... Yes.. And yes, they weren't very good.
But these are SUPER BRIGHT Prisma Lights. They are not the same thing. They are brighter, or at least supposedly brighter. We still have to see if they are as bad as the other ones, because they were bad. Randi |

So then another question appears- Are these as bright as the D'lite Ultra Bright?

Now after reading some posts I wonder if this is all that it looks to be.I am not so excited anymore. I can't wait to hear from MR effecto on this. I would order the white ones also but I have white from dlite and while I would like to compare I don't want 2 more white TT lites. My next order on Penguin though I might order a pair of blue and maybe red as the price is ok. I just don't want to waste money.
Darnit now I am on the fence. |

The reviewer, Chris Oberle, actually does say "the Prisma Lites are NOT as bright as the old D'Lites". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A01XjVgjcA He says the enclosing TT is "more realistic" in appearance , but to me that is kind of pointless because no one should ever be looking at it directly and this isn't really a "close-up" effect, you need some distance ; therefore if no one ever should ever see it , it would be better to have the old ones that are BRIGHTER, imo. |

The review I saw of Prisma Lites actually said they are NOT as bright as the older D'Lites. But I'm trying to figure out if that review (which was posted in 2016 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A01XjVgjcA) is referring to the first run of Prisma Lites and now you've got a new run of Super Bright Prisma Lites which are actually brighter ? Are the new Super Bright Prisma Lites as bright as the old D'Lites , particularly the Ultra Bright D'Lites ? http://dlite.com/magic-tricks/13-dlite-white.html Up above someone else wrote: Quote:

So I would really like you to clarify about whether these are actually brighter than the previous release of Prisma Lites or is this just the same thing with the new name "Super Bright" appended in front of Prisma Lites. . |

That is a very good point about the advantage of the device being brighter. In the HP review I can't understand why they didn't dim the production lights for part of the demo. He also uses the old D'lites and they are considerably brighter than the Prisma version. NOW the Ultra Bright D'lites have been released and those are definitely brighter than the originals.

I must say these look way better than the original delights. These are also really bright . The also come in a really nice box to keep them in . For the price these things rate top 10 .

I am really on the fence after reading reviews and opinions that widely vary. Two reviews on Penguin, one (ahem) glowing, and the other not so happy with the purchase. Lots of varied opinions on this thread, too.
One thing that really always bothered me was the so well known reputation of the original d'lites aming kids and hobbyists. Real easy to get busted by kids who are in the know, I would think. However, I remain open minded.
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.
