Ben, I just want you to know that I am a fan of your Solid Gold Easy Action Pro effect. To those who don't know, it is a signed card to envelope effect. There is no palming, and the envelope stays in full view the entire time. While it's not suitable for every occasion, at the right time and place this effect has the potential to KILL!
I know that it was released in the '80's, and was a big hit back then. I was wondering if you came up with any innovations since then. Not many people know about it these days. Is it still being produced? Do you plan on re-releasing an improved version? (not that there is anything wrong with the original). Also, what have been your experiences performing it for real audiences?

I'm not sure what it was called in the 80s but the current SGEA Pro is an improved remake of the old version. I think the envelope is more durable. It's probably the one you have.

Hi Cardguy,
Platt is correct. SGEA is still on the market in an improved form. This is basically a Mach #2 formation which you would probably be familiar with as it was released as a sep ms just after the orgiginal SGEA. I have fond memories "demming" this at the IBM and SAM conventions in the late 80's. This was with people standing across the dealer's table. The secret was to construct the envelope from centre sections stripped out of playing cards. Thus, there was NO telltale tip-off on the deck's edges. It's a tip I swear by and use ALL the time, all these years later. Ben
