First off, I don’t understand why everyone isn’t using this. I found out about it and then subscribed within 24 hours. There’s so much content. Where do I start?

That's what Alice asked the White Queen (if I remember Lewis Carroll correctly!) --and, the answer was, "...At the beginning, of course!"

OK...I realize that you are asking a rhetorical question! The answer, of course, is just "jump in" the pool!

Just keep in mind that, "there aint no 'beginners area' in this pool! You may not be Olympic Swim Team qualified at first, (You may be "dog paddling"! for a month!) but a young man with your intellectually ability, and with your insatiable curiosity will soon feel "at home" in the water!

I have a favorite anecdote from my Navy years (in the days of "wooden ships and iron men", and, now, we're all rusty!): A ship is heading out to sea, and a young sailor, on his first cruise, is standing at the ship's rail, with a grizzled "old salt", a veteran of 20 years. The "new kid" exclaims, "Wow! There's a lot of water out there! The old geezer replies, "What you see, is only the top of it!"

If YOU are wise, you'll look beneath the surface!!! There's much more to be seen, and much more to learn. (When you are "through learning", you're through!)

It wasn’t totally rhetorical. Jumping in was a bit overwhelming just to have so much to look at, but the beginning proved to be a good start. Even if I watched one every week, I wouldn’t catch up for more than a year. (When you include the new ones yet to come out) It’s amazing!

Ellis52 - Are you referring to subscribing to REEL MAGIC MAGAZINE? I've always seen the REEL label, but never read it. I was just looking at the offer for it here in MC... so, can you elaborate on why you like it? I'd be interested in subscribing, but would like to know more about it. I'll appreciate your input + opinion on why YOU like REEL.

Thanks - Chris

Ellis,
Correction >> big mistake.. Ok it's supposed to be WATCHED, and not read? This is interesting. Same question though, I'd still like to hear your input + opinion.

Thanks!

Dick, thanks for the info. OK...I can wait. I'd expect Ellis to be away for at least a week.

Yup! I’m waiting for the ceremony to start right now. Figured I’d catch up while I wait for the cap and gown thing. I love reel magic. It’s inexpensive and there’s a ton of gems. I’m slowly working my way through it. There are tons of lectures, tricks, theory, tips, and information. For five bucks a month for streaming, why not?
