If Greg decides the value of his app is 9.99 USD and the NZD is weaker against the US it’s only fair that Greg ends up with his 9.99 USD even if it means I’m paying 14.99 New Zealand dollars.

They are very different ...

The main differences are:

With Inject ACAAN the magician NEVER touches the deck, but the spectator does not have a "REAL" free choice of a number.

For those of you who are fans of Asi Wind's ACAAN, you can mix his method (sleight) with RA ... this way there's no heat on the "move" since the magician does not know the card or the number (and you don't have to memorize or do math).

The pricing is a little confusing.
The price reflected is this in local equivalent.
Not stated so dare not press the Paypal button because
it is asking for $12.21.

My normal purchase for all my magic product is normally in
USD. So during checkout it is in USD and also inform you how
much equivalent in local currency. So no confusion as I am
paying in USD. In this case checkout should be in USD10.00.

Fyi...I am from singapore. All my past purchases no additional
tax involved.

I am not sure if I am paying USD 12.22 or SGD 12.22 (SGD= SingDollar).

Google play store converts the price to your local currency. It's pretty obvious.

As for the exchange rate used, it will be one that favours the app store.

Greg will have no control over it.

He has set the price at 9.99 US. The price you pay in your local currency will be what Apple/Google feel like charging you.

It’s a couple of pounds or a few dollars more it’s totally irrelevant if you want this great effect . I really don’t understand some people if you are so poor why are you buying magic effects in the first place . If it’s a hobby it’s a luxury you obviously can’t afford , if you are a pro it’s also irrelevant as this sort of priced item pays for itself 20 x over in just one gig imho regards Tarik 🙂

As magic_tony has already stated, I do not control how Apple or Google do exchange rates or taxes ... they simply want to get the developer the asking price in their currency (for me it's USD).

When it comes to performing RA, here's a subtlety that I've used with GREAT success.

Once you know which card to cut to, as you spread the cards from hand to hand, secretly crimp the cut card and close the fan.

Now cut the crimp close to the middle of the deck and then ask the spectator to cut the cards (pantomime with your hands HOW you'd like for them to cut to increase your chances of them cutting to the crimp).

Ask your spectator to cut the cards, if they cut to the crimp, then you've got an AMAZING condition to highlight to your spectator.
"You're the LAST one to cut the cards ... Now, count your number ..."

If they don't cut to the crimp, then just cut the cards yourself to the crimp.
