Hello MC members,
I was fortunate to witness one of the most enigmatic magic tricks I ever witnessed. It happened in Orca's Island on June 25. His stage name was Seth. He came to our table and held his right hand out with a closed fist but the fist was turned to his left at a 90" degree angle. It looked like he was holding something and he was just about to drop it. Long sleeve Suit and Tie. He asked for any card to be named out. 2 of Diamonds. He opens his fingers, all tight together with no gaps in between, noticed a slight angle to the fingers. A small piece of paper got dropped on the table inside was written "Two of Diamonds" Left hand was inside the left sleeve the whole time. I'm imagining some kind of index inside the left pocket. Some kind of mechanism built into the suit that allows to pick up the paper from the index, and comes out through the right hand suit and hits the open fingers and drops to the table. Who can build me something similar? I have $5K. Please reply here or PM me with a recommendation of how to make this a reality. Thanks! |

Well, about 85 years ago, there was an act in VAUDEVILLE, who would produce any card called for, but, he died. --HE died, not the act!
Pat Page (or maybe, it was Terry Seabrooke) would open his act, when he was performing in a "working man's club" in England, with a "Name a card" gag. He would come on holding a card in his hand, with the back of the card towards the audience. He would say, "Name a Card!" When someone called out a card, he would look at the face of the card, and respond: "You're @#$%&@ wrong!"

With what you describe, my money is on it costing less than $5.00 not $5000.00.
