Thanks for the video. Guess I'll hold off and spend some $$ on a couple other things.

Finally got to see this... I like it! Whilst there is some fishing in this routine, it's minimal. I'm lookinf forward to try it out and see how it plays.

The deck is a "Koran deck plus" and included you also get the card reveal "mystery cards" with alternative back colors.
Any trick you do with a koran deck or a multiple out wallet - works with this Fishing is involved with Liam's routine - but once you watch the effect, you'll figure out an easier way that fits your style. Hope that helps. |

Finally arrived today. Got a chance to go over it briefly. Appears that as said, fishing will be minimal. I think I can live with it.

Got some ideas about other outs that can be used aside from what is taught in the instructions.

Well , the method is fairly obvious to magicians. I do like this routine though. I assume there are a few alternatives to the second reveal !!!!! It may be worth the price for those if they are interesting.
However , this type of Koran is hardly original. Doc Hilford had a whole Dvd of effects , with , I'm guessing, his version of this. |

Btw , has anyone, using Koran in the riffle style , ever had a spectator say "oh I saw the same card twice ? " This was always a concern I had .

I was wondering about that same concern as I initially learned the effect. Kind of a bad thing to happen, if it ever does. Open to ideas, I am.

Heya folks - STRAIGHT TALK MAGIC just reviewed The Seer Deck on the Café (http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=671265&forum=109).
Spoiler alert - "Any seer will tell you that if you buy this slayer, you will use it, get fantastic reactions and enjoy performing the trick." This has been one of our biggest sellers of the year, and now that it's out there it is AWESOME to see it getting so much love (and use!!!). |

I'm late to this party (again! - I have a roughly 4 month backlog on reviews at the moment due to a major life change earlier in the year!) - but really enjoyed the Seer Deck. I was already familiar with the principles involved - and have always loved the Koran deck. I thought this was a smart bit of thinking and a powerful routine for lay people. Good job Liam! You can always show the deck quite freely face up and then riffle with the cards face down if you are worried about a repeat being seen when riffling

The Seer Deck – Liam Montier
Product description: I like very much the mastermind deck, a gaffed pack which allows you to do a “force” of a card and then you’re able to reveal it in a very clever way. The Seer Deck is doing almost the same but removes the gaff cards by using another principle. I really like the fact you’re limiting the choice of the spectator while they think they could have thought of any playing card. You will then be able to reveal it very easily, with the method you like, whether it’s a mail you’ve send them before the trick or the card being written behind the two joker you removed, I like that freedom of presentation. But is it worth the $25 asked ? Let’s find out. Price and where to buy it: This is sold at $25 and you can find it in nearly every Murphy's magic partner ! What you get: The packaging is very close to the 52 to 1 deck one, simple and elegant, just what you want for such price. Inside, you have a link for you to watch the online explanation video, which is really well made, as usual from BBM, and you have several ideas along with the main principle of the deck. The deck is well made too, it’s a mix between 2 known principles and it works perfectly. I think that for $25, this is rather cheap and you can do quite a lot with it. Of course you can’t use it for your regular routines but the effects you can achieve with the deck are various so it makes it a very versatile tool. If you like what you see in the trailer, I don’t think you will be disappointed with what you receive. Teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJ65YCRGsQc The pros and the cons: Here is the core of my review, let's begin with the cons, as I will usually be doing, I prefer to keep the good things for the end. THE CONS: - It’s a fully gimmicked deck so I wouldn’t do my usual routines with it. - There is a “range” of cards people can think of which is a bit limited, I would not do the same effect twice on the same group, even if the outcome may be different. THE PROS: - I like the cleverness of the deck and the way people can “freely” think of a card they see. The other principle allows you to cancel this method by showing all the cards being different. - You have a lot of room for presentation, whether you want to find the thought card inside your wallet and in a lemon, you can do whatever you want. - The stack of cards they can think of is clever too because you’re able to know within one or two question which card they’re thinking of. - Although the deck is gimmicked, I don’t think there would be an issue leaving it in the spectator hands. You can even spread in front of them without fearing that the working may be discovered. Overall rating: I like this deck very much, it’s well made, clever and allows a lot of possible presentation. I just don’t see myself carrying another gaffed deck with me, 3/4 hearts. As for the difficulty level, it’s very easy to do, the memory work is minimal, focus on your presentation, 2/5 stars. Similar products: The mastermind deck is very clever and it’s the closest thing to this in my opinion. You also have the 52 to 1 deck which is similar in a way. Big fan of BBM and Liam. Have 3 of their products and have made this my fourth purchase.I am aware of what I'm getting. There's another deck by them and I'm sure this uses a principle of that deck as well as the koran.Being able to spread it face up and fan is a huge plus. This isn't just a one trick pony deck. You can find other uses for it too.Worth hunting down if you can al mann miracles with the 5 star deck.Yes it would be possible to make your own....but would cost more to make especially as saturn magic has this half price in their meteor discount event.Yes 12.99 bargain.Ordered and how come Liam gets the drop dead gorgeous volunteers.
