I recently purchased Derek Dingle's "Double Deception" from a magic auction (the mouth of a glass tumbler is placed over a cased deck, an "invisible" half dollar is set on the bottom of the tumbler, the bottom of the tumbler is hit with the palm of the hand, and a half dollar appears under the tumbler. It is repeated again, but this time, the deck is removed from the card box, and the mouth of the tumbler is placed over the deck of cards). I searched the net, but cannot find any info as to what year this great effect was marketed, or if any other magicians are credited for it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
