Yeah, as Kaan pointed out in his review, this product is intended for those who are new to the Magic Square.
Anyone who is well-versed in it and already has an existing routine, really has no need for this product. |

I kinda liked this.. I feel that he missed a trick not using the little plastic case (that comes with it, for your business cards) for an easy p**k...

Hi Reignofsound
You get 30 of them which should last quite a while however I think with a bit of knowledge you could make some more yourself. Regards Dr Rob |

I’ve ordered and already it has been mentioned that to make your own should not be too difficult.

You can make your own but you probably won't need to because it's not like you are using one up at each performance. You can use each one over and over again.
30 will likely amount to a lifetime supply. I expected to have maybe 4 included so was very pleased to see how many they give you. |

Hi all
Thanks for the continued discussion here on my latest release “In Plain Sight” This is something I created for myself and my show about 5 years ago and it’s sonething that I have used continually since then with great success in both my close up work and stage work. I am currently performing on cruise ships and use this in the main theatre for audiences of 800 people with the method and the gimmicks you receive. This leads me to a point that has been mentioned that this is for beginners. While I do agree my method is great for people new to the magic square I will also argue strongly that this is for pros too! Here is why. I don’t doubt that people already performing the magic square have memorized the equations (let’s call them) and don’t need help in the routine. I too do this so often that this applies to me. However I can also tell you from personal experience that the possibility of forgetting those equations during a live performance is absolutely possible when you Also have a million other small things to worry about in a live performance. It had happened to me more than once which is why I don’t mind saying that I ALWAYS have my “In Plain Sight Gimmick” at hand. It’s kinda like car insurance, we hope we never need it but it’s necessary as over time the inevitable can and usually will happen. I also find that sometimes after going on vacation or taking time off from my schedule it is easy for me to forget the necessary info I need when I come to perform the effect again and this is why I created the gimmick. As many have mentioned you don’t receive 1 gimmick or 4 gimmicks you receive close to 30 gimmicks. This should be a lifetime supply so Murphy’s have outdone themselves here! I still use the same gimmick I have been using for years! I am also very proud of this gimmick. What’s great about it is it’s simplicity and the clever subtleties built in that really do 95% of the work for you! And you have never ever have to worry about it being seen or indeed hiding it as it hides in complete full view. I am a worker, I make my living doing this and I stand behind this 150% I truly believe it is my best creation to date especially for people that will use it in their professional repertoire. It is not something you will buy and NOT use! Murphy’s have done an amazing job producing my original concept and bringing it to the magic community. There is also a great review of it in this months issue of Magic Magazine. Thanks to everyone for the continued support of my work Best MJ |

I have dyscalculia which is like dyslexia with numbers. So I have always feared the magic square. Would this help me perform the effect without the need for any maths or is it more of a prompt and you still need basic maths skills?

And afterwards the crib allows it to be almost self working. If you can add by one, two separate times, by the time you fill out the square, you'll do fine. |
