Does any manufacturer make a hot rod with a pull attatched to it? This could be cool to vanish or switch rods. Perhaps I am way behind the times (or ignorant of something that came out 75 years ago).
Just wondering. FC |

Not that I know of, sounds like a good idea!

I would put a tiny magnet in the end and use a holdout.

There are some good pulls, and I suggest using an old wooden cigarette vanisher and 'reforming' it to accept and hold the square rod. This is the kind of thing that is probably better used in some context where it is examined then switched before the magic happens. Afterward, they will recall handling it and let the thing pass. Cleanups are usually quite difficult when the goal is to let them examine something AFTER the magic and WHEN they are paying close attention.

Vernet's universal pull may work for the hot rod as well.

Expanding on Pete's idea, you could use a Raven for a very clean vanish.

Get John Cornelius' book. The perfect pull is described in there.
