Hi guys so I have read loads of posts about where to start and books but they all seem to be based around America and people just going in about what not to read, what are a group of good books and DVDs to get I no that it won't substitute for learning from a real person I am linining up to learn from some one but I won't to get some under pining knowledge beforehand,

I know what you mean. But many teachers prefer a blank slate. It makes it easier no teach not having to get rid of developed notions.
