Fold in the left side, fold the bottom side up, fold the left side in*, fold the top down, and then the bills are switched. Then unfold the top up, unfold the left side out*, and then continuing unfolding the switched bill.
This is the typical handling for a basic bill switch involving a TT, yes? I'm just wondering if there are any handlings for the same effect that are possibly cleaner and faster. |

1 Have bill to replace bill to be switched rolled into a ball and in Classic Palm in right hand.
2 Roll bill to be switched into a ball and put in left palm. 3 Bring hands together - Right hand drops bill from Class Palm and Classic Palms bill in left hand. 4 Right hand picks up bill in left hand at fingertips. |

I'm really liking Magick Balay's "four quarters" bill switch. Very fast and no prefolding necessary. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/7377

Here's another demo from the front without the camera man moving around. And yes its a TT bill switch with super easy handling. I like it better than the original Kozlowski switch. https://youtu.be/CZ9vON0RO4k

There are a ton of handlings...as well as a ton of effects...in "The Switch Book"

The best is the one you choose from "Switch" or something similar. It really depends on your preferences and what works best for you.

Another vote for Magick Balay's Four Quarters. It is in my pocket at all times for the past 7 years. Great stuff! Jay

On my Penguin Live I teach my handling of the bill switch. It gives you a very small packet, which makes it easier to use with a TT and the unloading and loading of the tt is covered while the bill never goes out of site. I also mention some tips and resources (specifically John Lovick's Switch) on how to improve your switch.

Im absolutely loving using the "Cloaking Device" from Jay Scott Berry's Penguin Lecture. It so (sooooo) much more "free feeling" and open hand cleanly displayed than any of the TT versions I've used.
Any 2 bills can be switched (or 2-for-1 or vice-versa!) At my art shows, where I perform magic at my table, I usually borrow a $20 and change it into 2 $10s, to show them how "I make change." Bryn

I use the Roger Klause fold with my tipless switch. It doesn't make you look like you're accustomed to rolling joints. I learned the fold from an old book by Michael Ammar.

I use the "Juan Hundred Dollar Bill Switch" by Doug McKenzie for a serial number prediction. The switch is so invisible and instant that changing to your dollar looks like nothing happened. If you show the back upside down, the switch looks like you just turned it over to show the front right side up. Unless you do it very fast, the method on the DVD looks a little awkward.
The tutorial requires prefolding both bills. However, I have worked out a way to use a borrowed bill and without a TT. https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/1385#reviews This method opens up a lot of creative ideas. Dennis |

One handling that is often ignored is Dollar Bill Switch by L. Vosburgh Lyons in Anneman's Practical Mental Effects. It's simply invisible when executed correctly.
Tamariz's Double Crossing the Gaze is excellent also. |

4 unfolds and the bill is fully open, also shown both sides no mucking round

Hello, I like a modified handling of the Juan Hundred switch. Here's my trailer for a trick that I used to sell that uses this switch. The video is terribly filmed - none of the editing was necessary. I like the switch, because it looks like you just turn the bill over with no folding. If you would like the tutorial for this trick (free), just PM me.
