I too own an Illusion By Your Design sword basket and love it but the practical aspect of the coth one is appealing. I've been looking at adding one for those smaller shows that need the upsell. I agree with Walt that it is not the prop but the performer.

I also mean no one any harm and I certainly am not trying to bash illusion builders or those who own certain illusions. I am just an artist and graphic designer by trade and therefor I just have this thing for style and design of the props and illusions I own. I have tried and personally usedall kinds of sword baskets before I chose the one I currently have now. It certainly is a preference thing and you have to choose whichever illusion you feel works best for you.
I just never really liked the cloth ones is all. When I used them they worked perfectly fine and nothing wrong in that regards.I just always felt they did not look as good as what I wanted for my show and for myself. Like many people like different styles of art, I feel the same can be said for illusions. Some you just seem more attracted to then others. Once again, it is just a personal preference thing and not meant in any way as a bash against those who own one or who build them. Sorry if I came across the wrong way. It was not my intention to do so. I absolutely agree with Walt in that it is the presentation that makes the entertainer. Kyle

I also like the fact that there are no square cloth pieces to indicate pre-meditated placement of the swords. Other basket types might be better for different presentations and storylines though. Does anyone know who the manufacturers of any of them are?
