What's the best dancing hank?

Sean Bogunia's system (Ultimate Dancing Hank, Animation Sensation and Impossible Hank) is a great one. There are many possibilities with it (I've adapted mine almost beyond recognition).

You'll notice that each of these items carries a pretty high price tag, but once you see the workings, you'll understand why. The Ultimate Dancing Hank alone combines several magical principles into one prop.

So it's well worth the price then?
Is this the same one that Lance Burton used on his special?

I am aware of Lance Burton's performance of Dancing Hank. I can just tell you that the Ultimate Dancing Hank is one of the best tricks I have ever ordered in a long time. The audience loves to see the hank dancing.
With it you may do many more moves than with the standard Don Wayne version of it.

And the Impossible Hank is another great trick, which is a companion to the Ultimate Dancing Hank. Both are very well made and they will last you a lifetime for sure.

If you have any specific question don't hesitate in private messaging me.

I have the Bogunia dancing hank, and it has its conveniences. However, when I was devising a routine, I did a lot of research on the various methods out there.

Lance did a version of Ralph Adams hank routine. There may still be some copies of Ralph's book and video out there. I got mine from Denny & Lee.

Steve Pellegrino (Magic Café Member) is a good source on the Dancing Hank. He worked with both Copperfield and Blackstone Jr. on their dancing hank routines many years ago. He was very enjoyable to speak with and to discuss certain features.

What came first, the Ultimate Hank or the Impossible Hank? And since they are by the same creator, which is the better prop? If I remember correctly, they each run around $300... seems a little steep for a simple add-on.

There are three various parts of Sean's stuff -- and tie them together you have a superior product if you even have a minimal personality and a totlly non-rythmical body. Yes, expensive -- but it gives you all the options. (I even bought back-up rigs at full price to make sure I never am out of commission.)

Having said that, however -- each routine has its strengths. If you have a reliable well rehearsed assistant, Casper can be great -- and add on both John Calvert's and Harry Blackstone Jr.s' methods of adding personality to the hank....and it is a killer.

If you put some 3D wire work in -- with Bugonia's rigs -- a Casper Rig, and Adams cabinet -- wowl. Overkill, maybe. But Wow. GC

Hi Dustman,
I PM'd Steve a while ago but it looks like he isn't around. Any idea?
