Two deck version sounds good

I'm really, really liking this. For once in my life, my instinct was right. I love the utter simplicity of the mechanics of the effect, and the ultra simple, trouble-free reset. Plus the cleanness of the trick overall. No fuss, no muss, no bother.

I just really, really like it.

Doug. You’ve sold it. Why the f##k would you want to over complicate things. It matters not one iota to the audience. Get a grip FFS. I feel sorry for those that think that they need to utilise a whole deck for this effect. Really. You need a change of career. Perhaps IT. I dunno, but seriously. Get a grip.

Astor magic does a packet version too , which are all derived from the princess card trick I believe

Don't get me wrong. I liked AP. Still do. But the simplicity of the set up and reset in OOTB trumps that, imho. I haven't done AP in a long time because I messed up the set-up (the cards got mixed up) and now it's gonna take me some time to go back to the DVD and re-learn the thing, and I don't really have the time to spare right now. So it sets on my table unused.

I do agree that the feature of being able to use a signed card is great, and I often like to employ that ruse whenever I can, but I don't know if it adds "that much" to the effect that it trumps the simplicity of OOTB.

With OOTB, it's pretty darn hard to mess up the set up, or to fix it if you do. Easy on the brain. Less to remember. Less "brain strain," and I like that, because I'm a busy guy, and believe me, my poor brain is stressed enough as it is!

I have bought the original but have now made it up with my mastermind deck . The spread is much better and wider as is the f.r.e it’s far less contrived imo
