Just timed ron doing the Lloyd version, came in at 1 minute 30 seconds, if using pre split cards

It looks amazing~
By the way, how many versions are there? Original and Lloyd's?? |

Not had chance to watch it all yet, but there is Lloyds version, face on gimmick, one and a half gimmick, twisted reality gimmick, so I'm guessing 4

It just took us some time to fly to the Philippines to finally get it filmed. I can respect what you're saying, but nobody has been ripped off here. Bennie either independently created it and didn't publish it before Ron, or he saw Ron do it. Either way, please don't take away from Ron's hard work with accusations on a public forum. - G |

Looks 100 times better than revive that's the why and similar in method to regeneration .
I like regeneration a lot but one bit I don't like is the card is perfect on the back but joined and torn on the face which in reality wouldn't be the case . This appears to have the same discrepancy except in one of the demos where it appears joined but still has tear marks both sides . Is this possible and is it the same prep time and ease of execution to do it this way ? Thanks for any help |

This was talked about in the tutorial...saying that if the spectator dies decide to tear it, they won't find anything unusual, but I disagree, j think the face would cause severe suspicion |

Thanks Sleepy that is exactly my thoughts too . I have performed regeneration 100,s of times and the only reason you can get away with that discrepancy is the fact the spectator truly believes it is their corner torn off in the first place .
This they see you do and you then show the face of this corner on your tongue before swallowing or pretending to swallow it before the restoration . Otherwise if they don’t believe that part they could start pulling at the face joined corner , you then have to say it’s going through the healing process gradually which unfortunately isn’t great imo |

I think the creator describes scraping the fold with your thumbnail to give both sides a torn look.

This looks nice, but watching the trailer, while I'm sure it plays great at the reveal, you have to figure plenty of spectators will mentally piece together what must be happening based on the final "product." Again, I don't even have this yet, but pretty sure I know the basics of how it's done (will buy it to find out the details and the many, many neat subtleties I'm sure I'm totally missing), because it seems like there's only one way to get that final result. With Revive, everyone is dumbfounded and there's basically no way for people to figure out how it's done (at least in my experience). Again, Faceoff looks great, and I like the idea of maybe combining it with Revive in some manner, but I'm curious why some think this is better than Revive? |

I don't think its better than revive, but it gives you another method to achieve essentially the same effect, so you can do it twice without teaching them how to do it!
i would leave them with the revive card, but not the face off card. when they try to back track and work it out, they will have no idea due to the combination of methods. just MHO |

P.s. my revive card will not be left with staples in, though its not really a problem even if it is.
