Hi John, this is one of my ways of handling Quick Mate from And Finally! This clip is fast and extra handly. I do it slower and simpler for laymen.
It is a simple little effect but it I find it a great thing to have at my disposal and I thank Mr. Lorayne for publishing it. A reminder that I have taken liberties in this clip. |

Ok thanks. I figured it was most likely Quick Mate but I think the move where you flipped the 7D threw me for some reason.

This is puzzling, but my audiences need something more magical. do you suggest any tricks with the hello cut, etc. in the latest?

There are many quickies throughout our literature that aren’t necessarily designed for a FISM act, but can do much to enhance the reputation, depending on your outward character. If you don’t like this one there are hundreds more to chose from. |

No problem. Always remember, Mr. Lorayne recommends learning things as written, and then applying the three P’s - none of which appear in my clip. Lately, I’ve been doing it like this: The random card Is laid aside and after some shuffling I spread the deck face up (just like in the clip) I then pretend to make a mental photograph and study the spread for a few seconds as if memorizing the order of the deck. Then, into the ending. The spectator turns up the card, I think for a moment, then produce the mate as seen.

Thanks, ActionJack. Not too many here are interested in my holiday offer - guess they all already know all the good stuff - or...they have no idea what the good stuff is!!!

Wouldn't be...expensive - if you stopped wasting your money of the "bad stuff."

Oh - okay. I had checked all the symbols - didn't see that one. Just went over all of them again - still don't see that one. Guess I'm not checking'em all out well enough.

And Card College. In any case I am not in a rush for a card book unless I get a good deal. It can wait. I have plenty of literature to last me. This business of overpaying for a Lorayne book is a sales ploy. But of course this is only my opinion. Since I am not knowledgeable, I only read the bad stuff.
