I know this is an old post; however, I am sure if it resurfaces, nobody would object. I am intrested in "Jam". Magicauction has one by Illusions by Your Design... it is a beautiful piece and would fit my current show! I cannot find a way to contact Illusion by Your Design. The stuff from google, isn't helping! Does anyone have an email address or do you recommend any plans to the updated "Jam" with the altered hiding position? I have Illusionworks and it doesn't help much. I am also looking to use a taller assistant...is this a problem? Any pro's and con's would help!

My Konundrum will solve ALL your problems. Go to my site to see it. I can do both custom size and color.
Illusions By your Design was out of business last I heard. Do a search here for reviews of the KK. Jack

One more thought here Bryan: On page 21 of Andrew Maynes' "Illusiontech" Vol1. there is a picture of the very SAME Jam you are looking at on the MA. Mayne points out this one is NOT deceptive!!!
Just something to think about before buying. Jack

Thanks for the advice! Konundrum is nice... I sure it wouldn't take much to adapt the same motif in paint or better yet- laminate... Are there plans out there for such an illusion?

The "look" is not the only thing you should consider. My KK is mostly aluminum NOT wood, which means it will last much longer with less problems.
The "box" is only 27" W, X 18" H, X 18.5" D when folded down, and will easily accomodate a regular build of 5'9" 145lbs. Find out the dems. of the one on MA. I am unaware of building plans for Jam. Jack Did you read the post here where one fell off a 4 foot stage and was performed 20 minutes later?

Do you know...
Has anyone ever performed and illusion that incorporates both "Jam" and "Mini-Cube Zag?" I mean... Start out with the MCZ routine and then compress the whole illusion (such as Jam)... Or is that an overkill with the two illusions? Bryan p.s.- Jack your KK is pretty cool and does look a lot more deceptive. If I remember correctly, I think I've seen BJ Harris perform that in his promo video... |
