I have a recent rather ugly story to share and ask for any suggestions.
The shop I bought from is rated highly by customers. So I have a reason to believe the shop is professional and wouldn't like to steal my money. Story goes like this: 1. I bought a prop for 30 GBP 2. Courrier company in my country didn't care to locate my address and item was returned back to seller. 3. Seller promised that will refund me as soon as he gets the item in possesion. 4. He insists that he spoke with UK Royal Mail and this return route can take 3 months until the item finds him. 5. Time passes by and nothing has reached him according to his replies to my requests 6. There is no trecking number (how dumb system; reverse logistics so slow and non-monitored) In theory, I have 6 months to raise a claim on Paypal but my understanding is that I will have no coverage if the seller states that he didn't get it back and this is a problem given the fact that there is no tracking number. Any ideas, suggestions, advises please. Best regards Sensio |

If the seller has no proof that it was sent or proof that it was delivered you should be able to get your money back from PayPal. Do not delay in your claim with PayPal. You can always close out the claim if the seller refunds your money. It puts a bit more pressure on the seller as well to check on the package if they think they may have to refund PayPal. Good luck.

Thanks for the input.
I will open a Case and see. Very curious how it will end up. |
