Since good presentation is so important for strong and entertaining magic, a good way to improve your magic is by watching performances of master magicians. One can learn a great deal - as well as be greatly entertained - by seeing beautiful magic of the highest calibre.
What are some of your favourite video clips online (e.g. youtube) that fit these criteria? Let's make a list of some top-class card trick performances by master magicians, which all of us can enjoy, as well as be inspired and educated by. I've listed a few of my own favourites to get things started, but I'm sure that there are many other great clips of phenomenal card magic by master magicians. Tommy Wonder, Tamed Cards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvURE6ueeEk Denis Behr, Herbert the Trained Rubber Band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TybJ-O5RH1I Michael Vincent, Intuition Speller + Out of Sight Out of Mind https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUrFi3AlYv0 Alex Elmsley, Dazzle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4huXVIYhd4 What others would you suggest? Ideally include a youtube link if possible. |

The more I learn about card tricks, the more inspired I am to learn about the history of them and about all of the amazing performers of the past and present. Thanks for starting this thread Endersgame. Being directed to this footage is a lot better than being directed to some random google search. Additionally you have pointed out a couple of entertainers who I was not familiar with before.

Great thread !
I would suggest René Lavand « I can’t do it slower » and « call on colors ». Those two are unsurpassed in this style IMHO. |

Stay away from www.youtube.com/harrylorayeonvideo . (Hope I have that right - doesn't matter...you want to stay away from that - me performing about 34 impromptu lousy card effects/routines - anyway.}

I don't know, Harry. There is some really good stuff located at https://www.youtube.com/user/HarryLorayneOnVideo/videos
But I'd have to admit though, one of my favorite performances is this one (Numero Uno): |

I thought I'd posted this before but it ain't here. I don't think I said anything "bad" - but anyway...just wanted people to know that there's an earlier version of me doing Numero Uno at the link you posted. Decades apart - but the effect is exactly the same.

The YouTube video of Harry doesn’t work.
I have to find the call colors, it’s a beauty. But I’m pretty sure I’m wrong with the title. |

Well I did not stay away from the Harry Lorayne videos. That was a mistake, I will be watching them all night. I love the one eyed jacks sandwich!

I enjoyed Tommy Wonder's plot hook about choosing a card at the same time every day and collecting those.
Here is a 29-minute live performance of mine: https://youtu.be/lq2Rj1uf05M I used to be quite sensitive to criticism; I am much less so now; so, please do criticize my technique, presentation, and posts. It helps me to grow, and I promise to take responsibility and not to be defensive. |

If the emphasis is on the word "Beautiful", then you should watch Kiko Pastur's Magic Castle Show - it's beautiful:
