I have heard a lot of great things about these booklets as excellent ways to learn both great tricks and great presentation. Are these complete beginner routines or are they geared for more experienced practitioners? The website is not very clear on this.

As a group, I would consider the entirety of the Private Study Series as intermediate level. To my recollection, none are self working. Most require only a move or two which can range from almost beginner level to something on a more advanced intermediate level. The manuscripts are very good at teaching the sleights and how to use them. Anybody should be able to perform these effects with a little dedication to practice.

Thanks! That was exactly what I was trying to determine.

These are completely crafted professional routines as done by various magicians, for instance Don Alan. There are booklets for Don Alan's routines for the Chop Cup and for the Devano Deck. Each teaches the entire routine from beginning to end complete with all the moves, scripting, bits of business, and tips and tricks. You have to supply your own props.

Hi Bill, I think you're referring to additional booklets by Bauer, right? Bob
