Are there any more details you can share with us.
P.S. Jim Magus would be a great addition to the Baltimore Poe line up if that is at all possible.

Intrepid,
possibly for the convention in August (but to add more people into the event means less per performer, and sort of would like to be able to make sure we all cover our costs)

Death of Poe Haunted Mystery Weekend

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”

A man is found dead in a graveyard. No this not a joke. He was murdered at the Westminster Burying Grounds and found at the grave of none other than Edgar Allan Poe!

The great American poet Edgar Allan Poe died under mysterious circumstances in 1849. The man died only a few days prier. A locket and additional items found on his person. The man was a Poe historian and possibly more!

“The Locket is haunted” the man said in a letter. “It was once owned by Mrs. Sarah Elmira Royster Shelton. She was Poe’s fiancée at the time of his death, and childhood sweetheart.”

“Haunted,” you ask?

They said it can act as a portal, and those that have been in its presence alone have claimed to hear voices, words of unearthly spirits vocalizing. Lenore……

Some say it can even reveal the mystery of Poe’s death!

Join us on a haunted mystery adventure! Solve the mystery of the murdered historian and possibly the Death of Poe!

• Search for clues on 2 deaths over 170 years apart!
• Conduct experiments in the paranormal at the historic Lord Baltimore Hotel!
• Visit the grave of Edgar Allan Poe!
• Hosted by Vince Wilson, Vlad, Paul Prater and Joseph Daniels – renown experts on the bizarre!
• You will believe the dead can communicate with the living!
• The person or persons closest to solving the mystery wins a free weekend at the Lord Baltimore!
• April 12-14, 2018

As I've tried to make sure everyone is aware the event is
April 12-14th so the first graphic has the wrong dates on it, adjust your attending as needed Smile

For those not from the area, the Lord Baltimore Hotel was opened on December 30, 1928, and was the largest hotel in Maryland at the time and sported the grand spendor of the late twenties including the beautiful Calvert ballroom. Less that a year after it's grand opening, came the stock market crash of 1929 and the start of the great depression. Those that lost all hope in the years that followed turned to the Lord Baltimore Hotel. Not out of hope, but because it was the tallest building in Baltimore. Built in the French Renaissance style, with dark red brick, the hotel is twenty two stories and stands 289 feet tall. Far taller than any other building in Baltimore. Between 1929 and 1932, there were no less than 20 documented cases of people jumping to their deaths from the heights of this elegant hotel. In some cases couples jumping to their death together. The Lord Baltimore Hotel is without dispute the most hunted place in Baltimore. But the most frequently seen ghost there is the little girl Molly with her redball, said to occupy the 19th floor, tearfully looking for her parents.
