I'm am trying to get Bamboozlers by Diamond Jim Tyler in PDF/Ebook format so I can take it with me on the go.

A quick google search has got me these sites;

Can anyone confirm if these are legit places to buy magic or not, or are they scams.

I bought the set of three directly from Jim, and highly recommend them.



His Penguin Lecture (Diamond Jim Tyler LIVE 2) covers a lot of content straight from the books, and is also very good, and makes a good companion to the books.

Thank you. I am currently writing Bamboozlers 4 and I have the illustrator working on the first half of the drawings. Later this year I plan to release the Bamboozlers Deck. The cards and box are going to be beautiful. Just wait and see!

Please post an update in this thread with further info about Volume 4 as you get closer to publication, and when it becomes available!

I would say that too, but Jim's shipping cost to where I live (international) for a single book is $20, which will probably cost more than the book itself.

I did order a bunch of books from him previously (including Bamboozlers 1-3), so if only there was a way to get Bamboozlers 4 included retroactively in my previous order... I'd get it in a heartbeat if it had free shipping for his previous customers.

I wish I could brother but I cant lose $. If I did that I would not have $ to release the next project. I always charge the exact shipping cost to me. Even at that I lose $. There is PayPal or credit card fees. My website fees. The cost of gas going back and forth to the post office. The cost for packaging. As I type all this I think I should raise my shipping costs BUT I will not for now. I try to keep them low to encourage people to buy directly from me. Almost always I throw in an extra surprise too.

How close are we to seeing Bamboozlers Vol. 4 being in print and hitting the market Jim?

It's worth updating this thread to mention that Jim has put out a custom Bamboozlers deck of playing cards which has 52 of his bar bets.

Unfortunately his website doesn't give any indication about whether or not solutions are provided with the deck. Hopefully Jim will chime in and let us know how this works.

I'd like to think that the deck comes with a link to a website which gives the answers, or at the very least tells you where in his books you can find the bar bet from each individual card.

Thank you Ender's Game for the recent post. The deck does includes a playing card with a link to all 52 answers. I am almost finished writing all 75 routines for Vol. 4 of Bamboozlers. Plus all of the illustrations are nearly done. However there is still the layout and edit process. By the time I finish all of that, things are backed up with printers. so I'm guessing it will be the last quarter of the year for this book to see the light of day. I will tell you this... It will be the thickest volume yet. I'm soon to reprint the 4th edition of Vol. 1. The cost of printing and shipping has gone up since 2008.. and hence the price of each volume was raised recently from $20 to $25. I still offer a deal price on my website when buying all 3.

Now, there is a DELUXE DECK containing those wonderful BAMBOOZLERS entries. FANTASTIC!

I am already in line waiting to purchase Bamboozlers Volume 4. Yet another easy to carry around book of great stuff. Fun I tell you!

IF you see these on a PDF then it is not authorized. I don't believe Diamond Jim ever released these as a PDF.
I know as a Murphy's dealer (myself) these are not on the Murphy's site available for purchase as a PDF.

Jim made these a great size ass it would be easy to carry all 3 with you. I ended up keeping a set for myself. Great books.
